Dress Code:
Ballet students beginning in Elementary
Ballet wear a pink tights and a black leotard with pink ballet
shoes of either leather or canvas. Hair shoulder lengther and
longer must be secured neatly in a bun.
Fall Schedule 2008-2009 School Year:
The Elementary Division 2008-2009 School
Year begins August 18.
Enrollment is limited to12 students in
Elementary classes. Students enrolled in Elementary
Ballet may choose to also enroll in Tap I.
Elementary Ballet I (age 6 by 9/1)
Tuesday 4:30 - 5:30
Elementary Ballet II (age 7 by 9/1)
Thursday 4:15 - 5:15
Elementary Ballet I/II (age 6 or 7 by 9/1)

Tap I (1st or 2nd Grade - must be enrolled
in Elementary Ballet)

Tuition Options:
Elementary Ballet - Tuition may be paid in either four equal
payments (Quarter payments) or two equal payements (Semester
payments). Quarter Fee: $135;
Semester Fee: $265
Tap - Tuition
may be paid in either four equal payments (Quarter payments) or

Fee: $95; Semester Fee: $185
Class Descriptions:
Elementary Ballet (1st and 2nd Grade) The goal of Elementary
Ballet is to inspire a love of ballet training. Classes
are made up of barre work, center work, exercise to increase
flexibility, and exercises to encourage musicality and
self-expression. Alignment of the spine and correct use
of the muscles in the legs and feet are stressed.
Students are also taught the correct protocol for the
ballet classroom.
Tap focuses on rhythm, syncopation and style.
Our classes provide instruction in traditional tap. An
emphasis is placed on developing proper sound and clarity.
