The Nutcracker: December 9 - 11, 2011 at the BJCC Concert Hall
Birmingham Ballet’s telling of The Nutcracker brings this classic story to life with masterful story telling and engaging
style. This Birmingham holiday tradition features a unique telling of the story which
includes the magical aerial ballet. All ages never grow tired of this cleverly crafted production which features
traditional choreography mixed with fresh surprises each year.

The Sleeping Beauty: March 9 - 11, 2012 at the BJCC Concert Hall
This fairy tale, the newest addition to Birmingham Ballet’s repertoire, delivers a magical adventure! Be enchanted by Princess Aurora, spellbound by fairies and thrilled by valiant
Prince Florimund in his battle to overcome the evil spell cast upon his
beloved. In her distinctive captivating style, choreographer Cindy Free weaves
traditional elements of this favored ballet with fresh innovation of her own -
creating for us a magical world of fantasy and possibilities where we can
experience happily ever after.
